The work consists of two key elements: a curated disco event playing 101 songs that specifically reference 'soil' in their titles (ranging from Johnny Cash to Herb Alpert), and a corresponding black and white poster that documents the complete playlist in numerical order. Originally conceived for the Soil Culture - Deep Roots exhibition at Peninsula Arts Gallery (2016), the installation transforms archival music research into a participatory social experience, merging environmental themes within the format of a 80’s weekender disco.
